CONFERENCE VENUE

The ILAG Conference will take place at the Wellesley Hotel which is a 5 minute walk from the Holiday Inn.

The Wellesley Hotel is located in the heart of Wellington’s Central Business District and is a magnificently restored heritage listed building designed by William Gray Young in 1927. The Wellesley received a gold medal for architecture and is Wellington’s finest example of neo-Georgian architecture. The hotel was restored, retaining its charm and elegance, in the year 2000. It has a staircase that was imported from London, England, and which winds its way from the lobby up to its 5th floor. The conference will be held in the oak panelled Grand Dining Room on Level 1.
